Movie Tip #2
Story Time
A good story is an important key to making a great movie and also another way to get noticed by the qubo staff and Zimmer Twins. A well developed story idea is ideal, so try planing your story out on paper first, I find making notes is always a fantastic way to keep my stories in order. Your movie should have a strong beginning, middle and end and make sure that it is long enough to tell the story well.
Here is another quick tip if you are having trouble finding a place to start:
There are six great starters provided for you on the make a movie page, that means you just have to figure out the middle and the end.
Movie Tip #1
Know Your Characters!
One of the most important parts to making a good movie is to have great characters! Try asking yourself some questions about the main characters in your story, it will help you to better understand how they might react in certain situations and how they might relate to one another. Pretend like you are interviewing them and ask them everything you would like to know, even their juiciest of secrets!
For example: What are their likes and dislikes? Are they hyper or really sleepy? Do they love adventure or romance? Would they rather read a book or ride a roller coaster?
8 Weeks Left!
Today starts off our count down to the quboPic collection deadline. That means you have 8 more weeks to impress the Zimmer Twins and qubo staff, by making the greatest and most stupendous movies ever seen in this dimension and beyond.
Every week from now until the deadline I will be posting helpful tips on how to make your Zimmer Movies the best that they can be. Stay tuned for hint number one and get cracking!
Father's Day
Summer Time
Summer is certainly approaching fast, and you know what that means:
VACATION TIME!
And with vacation comes more time for fun in the sun, hanging out with friends, bikes and ice cream and of course more time for Zimmer movies.
Are you excited? What are your plans for the summer? I wonder what Edgar and Eva will get up to? Maybe they are heading off to psychic camp in the 13th dimension? I bet they play some pretty strange games at that camp, like tele-porting tag for example! How about you, what do you think the twins will get up to this summer?

Brainstorm!
Do you ever have trouble coming up with ideas and inspirations for new movies? When that happens to me, I think of some of my favorite stories or movies, and then I brainstorm a list of things that I like about them.
For example I pretty much love all the Star Wars movies and here is why:
-they are great adventure films
-cool space races and wookiees!
-many mysteries and surprises along the way
Now I can look at my list and think about how it might relate to a Zimmer Twins movie? Maybe Edgar and Eva can have a race through the 17th Parallel, or 13 has to solve a psychic mystery or well I think you get the picture. Brainstorming is an excellent way to get the story ideas flowing. I wonder what a psychic brainstorm would be like?
