The Zimmer Twins first started in Canada (or the Great White North as some Canadians like to call it). For many years there has been a separate Zimmer Twins site in Canada. We're now bringing everyone together on this on site. We've invited all our Canadian movie makers to join us here. So please join me in welcoming these new Zimmer Twins members!

Now this is what Collabowriting is all about. It's the perfect way to make movies together. You can make your own starter and ask others to create endings. Or you can make a movie without words and challenge others to fill in the blanks. Here's a good example.

One of my favourite clips is the 'films' clip. Along with the clapboard clip and the watches TV clip you can make great movies about the Zimmer Twins making movies.

When I was a kid I used to love making movies with my friend's video camera. What kind of movies are the Zimmer Twins making today? The news? A TV ad? Maybe a soap opera? Maybe an action film?

Thanks to everyone who wrote to suggest we remind everyone about some of the rules here at the Zimmer Twins. Sometimes we do need to remove movies or at least send out a little warning. There are three mains reasons why this happens.

The first is that a member has singled out another member and said something bad about them or their movies. We all like to get tips and suggestions from other people. But they need to be friendly. Another reason is bad language. Remember that some of our movie-makers are very young.

The other reason is that someone might include personal information in a movie such as an email address or their full name. Remember that online you don't know who is reading this information. So when you are on any website it's important to use your nickname and be careful about what you share.

You can find all our rules on our Code of Conduct page. And what do you do if you see something that doesn't play by the rules? Click the flag button. Flagging helps us find problems quickly.

Okay, enough about that. Back to making awesome movies!

So apparently some people like books more than sports. So what about Edgar and Eva? What would their favourite books be? Maybe Edgar secretly likes reading love poems. What do you think?

So who here likes sports? The hockey playoffs are on, baseball season is under way and the soccer world cup is coming soon. And who knows what bocce or curling are? What sports do you think Edgar and Eva like to play? Or watch on tv? What if they had to pick a sport to play together? Why not make a movie about your favourite sport.
